Jan Minnaar, the Chief flying Instructor, and proprietor of Cloudbase Paragliding School, has been paragliding since April 1991. He learnt to fly in CapeTown with Daedalus Paragliding under the instructorship of Kobus Botha and Springbok Parachutist and multiple National Paragliding Champion Jay van Deventer.
We start at Brenton-on Sea at 9am where you receive a short briefing about the days’ activities. Depending on the wind direction, we head out to our training site where you are instructed on the basics of ground handling.
